NOT THE ONLY ONE WORKING OUT

Looks like the workout bug is catching on at home. Last night I caught Goy and Damien doing some sit ups.

I've still got some work to do with others.

LEIPHEIMER TAKES BRONZE

Congrats to Levi Leipheimer for taking the Bronze in the Olympic Time Trial.

In my own cycling news, started my trips up Kunia Road on the way home on Monday. Man, it was hot but got in some good training. Also got in a good ride plus run brick today.

NO CYCLING WEEKEND

I decided to take a break from riding this weekend. Shoot, I haven't even taken my bike out of my truck from bringing it home on Friday. I had planned to give it a cleaning this weekend and didn't even do that.

I took a look at some blogs today and see that I missed some good rides. Oh, well. I needed a break and spent the weekend watching Olympics. I caught the men's road race, won by Sammy Sanchez.

This next week I'm going to try to get in some extra miles before and after work to get ready for Dick Evans. I want to try to work in a ride up Kunia road every day, either before or after work.

DOG SITTING

For the next couple of weeks we are dog sitting for one of Goy's friends. Here is Damien with our guest...Lucky.

PERFECT DAY TO RIDE!

Today's weather was perfect for riding! Hooked up with Ben, Dev, and Brandon in Kunia for a ride up to Schofield and then back down through Barbers Point. There were a lot of riders out this morning. It looked like everyone had the same idea. Later Brandon left and Greg hooked up with us. Great ride!
